A WWI naval resource

By Rob Morgan

www.naval-history.net

is a web site dealing with the centenary of the Great War at sea. It
contains a substantial amount of material on the subject of the battles of the world-wide encounters. There’s a full, precise chronology of the war from August 1914 to the Armistice and beyond. Massive amounts of information on Royal Navy warships and auxiliaries, and ship log books, details of convoys, a mass of stuff of great value to the wargamer.

One particular section deals with casualties, Royal Naval, Imperial, Dominion and Royal Marines, and, for some reason, the casualties of the US Navy and of the US Marines in the late war period from April 1917 to the Armistice are also included, possibly because for several months a USN battleship squadron served under Royal Navy command at Scapa Flow.
