((Rob Morgan submits the following.))
The July 2013 issue of Military History magazine has just reached my letter box, and contains an interesting note for British-based readers and for those visiting London.
“War Games” is the title and subject ofa major exhibition which takes place at the Victoria & Albert Museum of Childhood in London (tel:-020-8983-5200)from May 2013 to March 2014. It covers all sorts of games, and especially those played with figures. The museum has a substantial collection of old 54mm figures, and a host of more modern models, and scores of rare board games, like the 1914 “Get Rid of The Huns!”
